From a boutique vineyard.
We craft Arneis in harmony with nature and with minimal intervention in the winery. We embrace vintage variations to express terroir and different seasons. All canopy management, fruit thinning and harvest is done by hand, mostly by ourselves.

We believe organic is better for the environment, for us and for you.
We are committed to organic viticulture. To increase biodiversity we enable wild flowers to grow in our vineyard. Honey bees and beneficial insects like our wild flowers, enjoying their food and shelter. Sheep in winter help us tidy up the vineyard, get rid of excess weeds and promote life in the soil. Tua Marina Vineyards is a member of Organic Winegrowers New Zealand.

The mysterious process of turning grapes into wine.
We pick the pretty orange-yellow Arneis grapes by hand once the flavours have fully developed. After whole bunch pressing indigenous yeasts take over and ferment the precious juice into wine. Fermentation takes place in a combination of small stainless tanks and seasoned oak barrels. Lees stirring and ageing in the oak barrels contribute to the wine’s complexity and mouth feel. We sample and taste the maturing wine regularly to ensures that we blend and bottle it at the optimal time. The wine is not treated with fining agents and goes through only minimal cool stabilisation.
The end product – delicious Arneis wine.
Tua Marina Vineyards Arneis is a fresh and aromatic white wine with a dry, complex texture and nutty phenolics. Look for fruity flavours such as citrus, stone fruit and pear. You may detect floral aromas with a hint of herbal fennel and aniseed. It finishes dry with almonds and hazelnuts characters.

Enjoy Tua Marina Vineyards Arneis.
Our Arneis is made to share with friends and enjoy with Italian / European food. Try it with fish and shellfish, pasta with olives and pine nuts, risotto with porcini mushrooms and pecorino, fennel gratin or salad Niçoise. Naturally it matches perfectly with fresh and local products from Marlborough. You may want to expand to Asian dishes that are neither sweet nor too hot. But why not try to find the perfect match yourself?
